Over time, sludge, rust and debris build up inside radiators and pipework. That muck stops heat circulating properly, makes the boiler work harder, and is behind a lot of the breakdowns we see.

A power flush is a controlled clean of the heating system. We connect specialist equipment, circulate cleaning chemicals, and flush the waste out until the system is running clean. We then add the correct inhibitor so it stays protected.

Signs you may need one

  • Radiators hot at the top and cold at the bottom
  • Some rooms never get properly warm
  • The boiler is noisy, kettling, or locking out
  • The system needs topping up more often than it should
  • Dark or dirty water when a radiator is bled
  • A new boiler being fitted onto an old system

What we include

  • Assessment of the system before we recommend a flush
  • Power flush of the heating circuit
  • Cleaning of radiators and pipework as part of the process
  • Correct inhibitor dose after the flush
  • Straight advice if a flush will not fix the problem on its own

Every system is different, so we quote after we have seen the property. If a flush is not the right job, we will say so rather than sell one anyway.

Power flushing sits alongside our servicing and LGSR work. A clean system with the right inhibitor is cheaper to run, more reliable, and kinder to the boiler.
